Chana dal laddu, Kadalai paruppu urundai Healthy sweet

Ingredients:

  • Chana dal – 1 cup 
  • Jaggery (grated)  – 1/4  to 1/2 cup (adjust to your taste)
  • Elaichi powder – a pinch

Recipe:

  1. Roast chana dal till golden brown.
  2. Boil water in a pan. Add chana dal and cook.
  3. After the dal is 3/4th cooked, remove from heat. Do not over cook the dal. Otherwise it will get mushy. Let this cool.
  4. Then pulse few times in mixi and grind it coarsely.
  5. Mix Jaggery, cooked Chana dal, Elaichi powder and Ghee. Make small ladddus when it is warm.
