Ingredients:
- Basmati rice -1 cup
- Onion – 1 medium (cut lengthwise)
- Peas – 1/4 cup (cooked)
- Tomato – 2 diced
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil or Ghee – 2tbsp
Grind and make a paste of:
- Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
- Mint leaves- 1/4 bunch
- Greenchilli – 2 to 3
Recipe:
- Soak Rice for 10 minutes in water.
- Heat Cooker and add Oil. Add Onion and fry well. Add Peas, Tomato, Ginger garlic paste and fry well.
- Then add Salt, Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powder and Ground paste. Mix well till the raw smell of masala goes.
- Now add Rice with 2 cups of water and cook till its done.
- Remove from heat.
Goes well with: Raita.
