Curry leaf Powder

 Curry leaves podi, karuveppilai podi


  • Curry leaves- 1/2 cup
  • Garlic- 1
  • Red chili- 4
  • Urad dal- 1 tsp
  • Toor dal- 1 tsp
  • Hing- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Oil- as required


  1. Heat little Oil in a pan. Add Curry leaves fry till it turn into crispy and keep this aside.
  2. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Garlic, Red chili, Urad dal, Toor dal and Hing. Fry till the dal turns into light brown color.
  3. Allow this to cool and then grind all the fried items with Salt.

Goes Well with: Dosa or Idly.
