French fries, Potato fries, Finger fries


  • Potato (large) – 4 to 5 (peel skinĀ and cut lengthwise 1/2 inch thick)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – to deep fry


  1. Cut potatoes length-wise and soak it in ice cold water for an hour. Then dry in a tissue paper.
  2. Heat oil to 325 degree Fahrenheit, deep fry for 3 minutes. Then rise to 375 degrees and fry till crispy.
  3. Sprinkle salt and serve hot.
