Mint coriander chutney(pudhina kotha malli Chutney)



  • Mint leaves – 3/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves – 1 cup
  • Red chilies – 2
  • Tamarind – a pinch
  • Mustard and urad seeds – 1 tspn
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Oil, Salt – As required


  1. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Red chilies, Mint leaves and Coriander leaves, fry for sometime.
  2. Once it cools off, Grind all the fried items with Salt in blender.
  3. Heat a pan. Add 2 to 3 tspns of Oil, Mustard and Urad dhal. Once Mustard seeds splutters add Curry leaves and ground mix. Fry this for some time till the raw smell goes out.

Goes well with: Idly or Dosa.
