- Besan flour(Kadalai mavu) – 200 grams
- Onion – 1 big (Chopped)
- Drumstick leaves – a fistful (plucked and washed)
- Plantain flower (finely chopped) – a fistful (optional)
- Curry leaves – few
- Chili powder – 1/2 tspn
- Salt – to taste
- Mix all the ingredients(except oil) with enough water.
- The consistency of the batter should be of Idly batter consistency.
- Heat Oil in a pan. Pour a spoonful of batter to the hot oil. Deep fry both sides till they are golden brown.
