Andhra Paruppu podi,Poori kadali podi


  • Pori kadalai – 3/4 cup
  • Red chilies – 7 to 8
  • Garlic – If the garlic is small use 20 – 25 piece. If its big, then use 10 – 15 piece.
  • No need to remove the outer skin of garlic.
  • Salt – As required


  1. Heat a pan. Don’t use Oil to fry.
  2. Fry Pori kadalai, Red chilies and Garlic till it become golden brown.
  3. Cool off all the fried items.
  4. Then grind all the fried items and Salt.

Goes well with: Hot Rice, Idly or Dosa.

Tips: When u grind this powder, make sure that mixie is dry. Store this paruppu podi in dry container.
