Ingredients:
- Green gram dal (split) – 1/2 cup
- Dry red chili – 2 to 3
- Garlic – 2 to 3
- Coconut (grated) – 1 tspn
- Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1 tspn
Recipe:
- Heat a tspn of Oil in a pan. Add Green gram dal and fry till it turns into golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let it cool. Then grind this with dry Red chilies, Garlic, Coconut, Curry leaves and Salt. Add little water and grind to a coarse paste.
Goes well with: Rice and Curry
