Ingredients:
- Raw rice – 1 cup
- Split moong dal(pasi paruppu)- 1/2 cup
- Water- 4 cups
- Cashew nut- 10
- Grated Jaggery(vellam) – 1 ¼ to 1 ½ cup
- Ghee- 5 spoons
Recipe:
- Cook the Raw rice and Moong dal in a pressure cooker.
- Heat 2 spoons of Ghee in a pan. Add Cashew nut fry till it lightly brown and keep aside.
- Heat 3 spoons of Ghee in a pan. Add cooked items and Jaggery.
- Smash the cooked items well with the Jaggery and Stir it continuously.
- Finally add the fried cashew nuts and stir for a minute.
