Wheat rava idly, Samba rava idli,


  • Wheat rava – 1 cup
  • Urad dal – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – to taste


  1. Soak Urad dal and Wheat rava separately for 3 hrs.
  2. Grind Urad dal into a fine paste, then add Wheat rava and grind again for 5 more minutes.
  3. Add Salt and mix well. Allow the batter to ferment for overnight.
  4. Then prepare idli using this batter. 
  5. It is good for sugar patients.

Goes well with: Chutney, Sambar.
